I’m writing this as a warning after my terrible online shopping experience. I spent almost $400 on a pair of prescription safety glasses with all the upgrades for my husband, expecting quality. He’s had them less than a year and has only worn them a few times, but one day, the nose piece just fell off while he was wearing them. I was shocked and immediately contacted customer service, hoping to get them repaired or replaced. That conversation led me to one firm conclusion: Do not buy from this company! They do not stand behind their products at all. What follows is the essence of my frustrating call.
Customer: Hello, the nose piece on my husband's glasses just fell off. We've had them less than a year and he's barely worn them. For a $400 pair, I expect you to repair or replace them under warranty.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your glasses. I understand your frustration. Let me check your order details. I see it's past the 30-day warranty, but I can offer you a special coupon for 50% off a new pair.
Customer: A coupon? That's unacceptable. I’m not about to spend another $175+ to replace a pair that literally fell apart from what I can only call a manufacturing defect. They didn't even last a year!
